Financial Responsibility

State law requires that drivers present proof of financial responsibility (insurance) to law enforcement. If proof of insurance was not presented at the time of stop, you must bring your proof of insurance to the court at your appearance date or when you pay the waiver. Failure to do so will result in a driver's license suspension through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. 

*Proof of insurance must be for the vehicle being operated on the date/time of stop.
