WHO WE ARE:  The Lexington Senior Civic Center (LSCC) is a non-profit organization that has provided education, entertainment, health, nutritional, information & referral, and transportation services for people age 60 and over in southern Richland county and surrounding rural areas since 1900. 
Whether you enjoy our programs or use our services 1 time or 1,000 times you will be treated with kindness and courtesy.  We take pride in providing services that are helpful for your everyday needs.  Feel free to phone in a question or request a specific service.  We are here to help in any way we can.

FACILITY PROGRAMS:  The LSCC provides several types of programs throughout the week.  Our programs include, but are not limited to, Home-cooked meals every Tuesday and Thursday [$9.00], Social & Event Parties, Euchre, Musical Entertainment, Guest Speakers, Bus Trips, Billiards, and Educational Seminars.

STAFF & VOLUNTEERS:  Director:  Brenda Wilson, Assistant:  Gayle Hester - Wendling, our cooks are Shirley Loos & Bonnie Clover. The LSCC is very fortunate to have volunteers who assist with various programs and special events by sharing their time and talents.  We are always in search of additional volunteers and graciously accept their assistance.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Director today!  419-884-1676.

SPONSORSHIP:  Because we are a not-for-profit agency, the LSCC relies heavily on the generous financial support of local businesses.  If your company would like to help sponsor our programs, please contact the Director during regular business hours Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m...  This also includes our annual rummage sale which is a fund raiser for the senior center and also a very unique community event.  Consider partnering with us during this event to get your name out there.    Thank you for your consideration.  Your help is very much appreciated! 

HALL RENTAL:  If you are planning a class reunion, family gathering, baby shower, wedding reception, or business meeting, please consider using our fine facility.  Contact the Director 419-884-0765 ext. #8 for current prices and availability.  We have a small warming kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave oven, and refrigerator.  You are welcome to have outside catering brought in.  We are a smoke free facility.  No alcoholic beverages allowed.
